New Server Owner at NorCal Server
Norcal changed ownership on the 28th of May from Nights62, and principals, to that of Voidref. For those that frequent this forum or play regularly on NorCal or visit that
forum/website this will come as old news. But for the uninformed this may be useful.
Void has been a regular at the
Seattle TDM Server for quite some time now and started playing regularly on NorCal more recently. He has also been a supportive member of the Dallas community since September of 2008. Void has proved to be a very capable admin on Seattle and I am sure that NorCal will continue to be a leading UrT server for quite some time to come under his leadership. Good luck Void and we look forward to hopefully seeing more of your presence around here as well.

Void has expressed his immediate intention to just essentially keep the current relationship in place between the two servers, NorCal and Dallas, where as we share certain resources and common ideals.
However I wish to make it clear to all that Voidref has total control of
HIS server and that rules and policy set by him and his admin staff are separate from Dallas and any [DSG] affiliation should not be confused as to over ride this as was the situation under Nights62's leadership as well.

I want to also take this opportunity to thank Nights for all the technical help he provided for myself and Dallas throughout his tenure. Many times Nights was the one I turned to in order to better understand various aspects of server configuration, Linux OS, and general council. Thanks for that help Nights and thanks for always supporting Dallas and the [DSG] ideal.
Nights and his crew are still going to be Admins here at Dallas for as long as they desire and you should still see them from time to time on both the game server and the forum however they have expressed the desire to minimize their amount of time devoted to this game and the administration aspects for which we can all understand.
So once again things are changing a bit but we don't anticipate any extreme changes in the near fu
